Europe has become obsessed once again with a horrific child kidnapping
Madeleine Macain has gone missing in what is turning into another horrible nightmare kidnapping. There cannot be a more evil act perpetrated on a child as a kidnapping. The ultimate fear of a child being victimized by pedophiles can be completely debilitating for parents. There have been a number of incredibly cruel episodes involving abduction and ultimate murder by pedophiles in recent years. These atrocities pushed legislators in Europe to adopt harsher anti-pedophile laws similar to laws enacted in the US. There is no capital punishment in Europe even for the most heinous of crimes . Governments would do well to consider execution in the kidnapping and murder of a child. Maybe just maybe that would serve as a slight deterrent to these criminals. Parents under no conditions should leave their children unattended for any reason for any amount of time.
