Kennendy endorses Obama

Almost a half a century after his brother John Kennedy became the first Roman Catholic president brother Ted Kennedy has endorsed the first real viable black candidate for the nation’s highest office. It is arguably the most important endorsement so far as far as Obama is concerned because the Kennedy name still is the most magical and special in American politics. Kennedy and niece daughter of former president JFK think Obama will win the democratic nomination and win the presidency. Or so they say. This endorsement is not a real surprise to political analysts as Ted Kennedy has always represented the more liberal side of the Democratic Party called by some the Liberal lion of American politics. Barak Obama is clearly the most liberal and left leaning of democratic hopefuls vying for the democratic nomination. Some credit the endorsement in part to the disdain Kennedy has for the Clinton family. Their may be a bizarre rivalry between the Kennedy’s and Clintons on bragging rights on who is the closest thing to royalty in the United States. The Clintons have their own Kennedy endorsements from the late Robert Kennedy children. Obama would do well to utilize this endorsement from the Grand elder of American politics. It may sway voters who like Obama but are nervous over his inexperience. Kennedy recently gave a fiery speech in support of Barak Obama that will likely sway many who listen to the speech.. Obama still looks to be an underdog as it still remains to be seen whether a black candidate is really electable.

The election looks to be hard fought.
