3 games seperate the Patriots from the Greatest season in the history of sports.
Football Perfection- almost. They said it couldn’t be done, going undefeated in the modern era of free agency would not happen. Well a feat that may never happen again in Pro football transpired in the meadowlands against the New York Football Giants. In a up and down game the patriots found a way to win 38-35. Tom Brady and Randy Moss both broke individual records for touch downs thrown and caught. Sometimes overlooked in the Patriots success story is the owner Robert Kraft and family who was committed to bring a winner to once the perennial losers the “Patsies”. He left no stone unturned to bring quality players and coaches to the club and it has paid off. His less known side is his huge and deep pocket for charities of all kinds. Leo Derocher once said “Nice guys finish last “. He was not talking about Robert Kraft. Many hope that the Pats win three more games to really finish out a magical season. There even may be a rematch between the Giants and the Pats in the Super Bowl. It’s a great game and getting better. |
