Patriots going long way to bringing fun back to professional sports. Patriots enjoying perhaps most dominating sports season ever.

With all the steroid controversy in baseball and woman's track and field, professional football and the New England Patriots have captured the imagination of the sporting world. They are being called Americas team, the perfect team, the greatest team and other accolades. There has never been another sports team that has so dominated and been so successful in a season, in any sport.

The alleged controversy suffered by the Patriots early in the season has been completely forgotten about. The Pats were accused of illegally taping the movements of the New York Jets on the sidelines.

The Patriots have four more games this year ( unless they lose a playoff game, an extreme unlikely occurrence )

Their next game is Saturday night against the New York Giants, the Giants having clinched a playoff birth will have little to play for, the Pats will win. They then will rest for a week waiting for the winner of the wild card games with the lowest seed. That is likely to be the Pittsburg Steelers. They have already dismantled the Steelers once and will probably obliterate them once again. If the weather is bad the Steelers have a chance. They then will likely play the defending super bowl champions Indianapolis Colts, the Colts already beaten once by the Pats will lose again. Then comes the big game. The Super bowl in Arizona. Super bowl XLII. The likely opponent will be another  victim of the Pats perfect Season the Dallas Cowboys. It will be a great game as the Cowboys gave the Pats fits while losing 48-27 in week 6. The game was closer than the score indicates.

It will likely be the most watched sporting event off all time.
