A new phenomena on the web, Social questions and answers on the web. The sites I mention and others have filled a need that has caught on like wildfire.Information thru direct questions. People enjoy asking and answering questions on almost anything in the world. Yahoo has a famous site Yahoo answers that has devised a system where the best answers have been rewarded by being placed high in the answer section. Most sites have similar rating systems that work in different ways. Some of these sites allow placement of links for strengthening websites making them very popular with Search engine specialists.
It seems that every time you open the internet another Social media site appears. The traffic that these sites receive seem limitless. The draw obviously is the ability of the users to influence the site and everything in it. This is the main theme of the Web 2.0 revolution in general and SMO sites in particular.
