Bonds in deep trouble

Barry Bonds to be prosecuted for alleged lying to grand jury

The Law has finally caught up with Barry bonds as he has pleaded not guilty to lying about illegal steroid use. Bonds has to be the ultimate embarrassment of modern day sports as he has broken the two most prestigious records of major league baseball. They are of course the homerun records for season and career. His records of course are doubted by many and will be cancelled if he is convicted of lying about his Illegal drug use. Few doubt that won’t happen.

The only doubt left is whether Bonds will spend time in jail or come clean and admit to the drug use as some other sports star have done of late. Bonds have pleaded not guilty to the charges and has consistently claimed that he is a victim of racial hatred. All this is completely absurd of course as the former homerun king Hank Aaron was black and revered by the entire sports world white or black.

When Bonds is found guilty as most think he will be his jail time may bring some closure to the steroid spectacle in the sports world. Fair players and fans alike feel cheated while players like Bonds used illegal enhancement drugs to gain an advantage.

They will probably put bonds on the prison baseball team.
