Gmail introduces colored labels
G-mail has added colors to its labeling feature to help users organize even more their G-mail. Labeling has been all the rage for a while as this tool can categorize e-mails and give similar gmails a unique color. This is how it works. Click create filter ( next to the search web button ). You will be asked to create a filter that will direct the incoming e-mail you have chosen to be filed away. One of those choices will be to “label “those e-mails. For example all e-mails coming from a secondary job that have in them
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
can be labeled “ second job” and given a unique color. When in the future an important e-mail arrives from secondaryjob.com it will appear in your inbox as a labeled colored e-mail. It will standout from other less important e-mails and be given priority attention. In this way if someone is waiting for an important e-mail and knows the e-mail address he can be sure he will not miss it. Gmail is the best. |
