Sides prepare for conflict after summit

Israel prepares for war in Gaza Strip.

The Israel military establishment is not even trying to keep secret the war that is to break out after the expected failure of the upcoming peace conference in Annapolis Maryland.

The Hamas in the Strip has apparently put its hands on Rockets of up to 20 kilometers that could hit a major population center, Ashdod.. This would put most of southern Israel under Rocket attack.

As far as military action in the strip the Israelis are especially worried about mines and other hidden bomb devices that have improved dramatically the ability of the Hamas to harm Israeli troops. They are now being placed on main roads under asphalt completely hidden and completely camouflaged. The military is pushing to act as they see time helping the Hamas amass a greater stock pile of weapons and plant more detention devices.

Olmert the Israeli prime minister so far is reigning in the military hoping to forge some peace momentum to stop military escalation. It won’t happen.

Both Israel’s military Southern command and the Hamas are intensively preparing for conflict in the coming months.

 All hell will break loose.
