Iran will have the bomb within a year

The President of Iran in a speech in the eastern town of  Birgand said that despite threats from the West Iran has succeeded in making operative 3,000 centrifuges used in Uranium enrichment. Enough Uranium experts say to produce a small number of nuclear bombs within a year.

If these experts are correct then there will most certainly be a major conflict within a year.

This modern nuclear missile crisis has apocalyptic undertones. The Iranian army is a very well equipped modern army which boasts tens of thousands of ballistic missiles. Should the United States attack Iran all hell will break loose. The following could be a likely scenario.

The United States out of fear that Israel will act alone in destroying Iran’s nuclear capability gives Iran an ultimatum. This will be done after European support will be garnished for a military move. The Iranians scoff at the ultimatum and place its army under high alert. While this is happening Israel the most threatened country involved readies herself to eliminate Iran’s nuclear threat in case the US backs down.

As the ultimatum comes and goes Syria hizbullah and the Hamas decide the time is right to attack Israel as they fear a strike on their main supporter Iran. A new Arab Israeli war commences. The United States launches a massive cruise missile attack on all military installations and nuclear facilities in Iran. Iran still manages to fire thousands of long range missiles at United States forces and Israel. As said earlier Syria and Hizbullah also fire salvo after salvo of missiles into Israel. The entire Israeli army is called up to battle on three fronts. Most of Israel populace is living in underground shelters as hundreds of missiles hit Israel .The Israeli army asks for volunteers from retired soldiers to help in its manpower shortage. The United States starts an emergency airlift of depleted Israeli military hardware. The United States lands ground troups on Iranian soil to verify destruction of nuclear facilities. The Egyptian populace demands Egyptian army come to the help of its Arab brothers as Egyptian president Mubarek tries to keep Egypt out of the war. He does not succeed and Egyptian military forces are set to join the conflict. Violent protests around the world claim casualties over the attack on Iran. Sleeper terrorist cells decide to strike US population centers as the New York and Chicago subways are bombed at rush hour killing hundreds.

Sounds apocalyptic?
