No one has gone perfect in a 16 game season, the Dolphins did it with a 14 game seaon in 1972.
Pats, Brady looking unstoppable
Do you think Don Shulah and the 1972 Miami Dolphins are worried? They should be. As this team seems to be dominating football as those Dolphins did in 1972. Well the 2007 Dolphins have a chance to save that 1972 team as they meet the Pats next week in Miami. Who ever said on any given Sunday any team can beat any other team must have been talking about the upcoming game between the Patriots and the Dolphins. The Patriots are 6-0 and the Dolphins are 0-6. The Patriots could be 3 touchdown favorites in this game and should easily obliterate the Dolphins. But alas letdowns always happen and the Dolphins are going to come out with fire in their eyes trying to pull a classic upset. It’s doubtful the Pats need any motivation but if they do someone should remind them of the 9th game of that 1972 season. The Dolphins embarrassed the Patriots that day 52-0. Payback time is a little late but it is at hand.
