Denny Martin Flinn has apparently taken his own life in Los Angeles
Denny Martin Flinn has died in an apparent suicide in Los Angeles He was a dancer writer and performer. His performed in the Ensemble and in Waldo the waiter. He was also an accomplished dancer and danced on Broadway in Plays such as “ Fiddler on the roof ” His writing accomplishments included Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) Star Trek 25th Anniversary Special (1991). He was nominated for the prestigious Saturn Award in 1993 for Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991). He edited all his own work which is rare for writers. His works included “how not to write a screen play " and " how to audition” Mr. Flinn was born on December 21, 1947 and met his wife when dancing for the famous Broadway play “ Fiddler on the roof “. She was one of the Daughters of Tevye the main character of the play. He initially did not want children and underwent a vasectomy to make sure he would not father any. Eventually he changed his mind and underwent a reverse operation. He was an exemplary father who became a sports coach of his son sports team thru reading books and internet search alone. He never played any of these sports. He did this and other project for his kids when he thought his input was vital for their development. His apparent suicide was planned to the smallest detail that included life insurance policies for his children that would be paid out even in the event of suicide. He even took his own life outside a hospital to ensure his organs could be transplanted. His Heath had been deteriorating as of late as he battled throat cancer and many bouts of pneumonia. He had little patience for the many phony’s that were in the entertainment business but was very tolerant and liberal in his personnel life. Funeral arrangements were not made public. |
