A great Jewish philanthropist has passed away.

Maurice Wohl  was arguably the most generous  and well known Jewish philanthropist. Nobody knows exactly how much money he gave away in his lifetime but its safe to say that it was in the hundreds of millions of Dollars. There was almost no institution with a ethnic Jewish Flavor that Wohl did not donate to. His name is literally on almost every Wall in Israel.

The Rose Park of Jerusalem was built in 1981 with a gift from Maurice Wohl and his late wife Vivienne, it was called the Wohl Rose Park of Jerusalem.

His funeral was attended by the thousands he helped in his lifetime.
