The son of the former prime minister of Israel is sentenced to Jail for seven months.

Omri Sharon the son of Ariel Sharon has been found guilty of accepting Illegal campaign contributions for his fathers run for primer minister of Israel. Omri Sharon himself was a member of the Israeli parliament the “ knesset  “ and resigned from that post when indicted . Many people around the world would have recognized the younger Sharon as he was always at his father’s side on trips overseas and at official functions. He was the top man in the inner circle that formed before and after his father was elected Prime minister. This tight clique called the  “ farm forum “ had great influence on policy decisions made by his father and had crucial influence on the decision to unilaterally withdraw from the Gaza Strip. This controversial decision was seen by many political analysts as political smoke screen by the Sharon’s on pending indictments in shady political financial deals that they were involved in. In the meantime the older Sharon has become completely incapacitated his son is on the way to Jail and the decision to leave the Gaza strip unilaterally seems to have backfired.

The younger Sharon is probably not going thru the easiest of times as in addition to his fathers extreme condition he has lost his Knesset seat and now he is to go to Jail.
